Almost Famous

Since becoming involved in the whole social networking scene, I've had some pretty interesting experiences. Take today for instance:

I talked to Demi Lovato! You heard me right...Demi Lovato, co-star with Joe Jonas on Camp Rock and all the boys in the upcoming 3D movie, Disney artists with several great songs, and currently starring in Disney's newest show, Sonny With a Chance. How is this possible? Twitter people! I just got mine last week and I've been "twittering" up a storm ever since. Out of curiosity, I looked up a bunch of my favorite celebrities on the site. Demi, Selena, Miley, even Whitney Port (The City). Now, I'm not gonna lie, I was kinda skeptical. I mean, celebs. are notorious for having posers on a lot of networking sites. I usually just follow them from a distance. I don't want to seem like an over excited fangirl or anything, no matter how much I may be. I wouldn't have believe this, but the fact that Selena, Demi, and Miley were all talking about going to dinner together a few nights ago and the next day there's paparazzi pics of them out confirmed it for me. Anyway, we talked for a few minutes about THE JONAS BROTHERS and the press that they're doing for the 3D movie. oh yeah!! and then I asked her if she had any plans for Valentine's Day. She said she'd probably just hang out with her friends. Demi, if for some reason you ever read this, thanks for taking the time to talk to me. That was really cool of you.

I love how I have access to my favorite celebrities like this now. They're blogging, Twittering, Myspaceing, and Youtubing...just like the rest of us. That does require some etiquette though people! Don't annoy them or get upset when they don't talk back to you. They have busy schedules and really do try to get back to as many fans as possible. Don't give up hope! Just keep sending those messages and making those videos, they'll see them one day. I mean, the Jonas Brothers actually watch fan videos on Youtube and even responded to one a few weeks ago. There's hope yet!

So...moving on...second cool part of the day. I'm checking my FFE, and there's a new video posted from the boys. They're having ANOTHER video chat for the fans on Feb. 21. Well, with me being addicted to Twitter like I now am, I immediately make a "tweet" about it. One of the girls that I'm following, who helps run a Jonas fan site asking me where I got my info. from. She's super sweet (Hey Kristen!) and even gave me a plug on the site! I'm slowly working my way to being an Internet celebrity!
