It's Gonna Be My Year

Hey guys!!!


Well here it is, 2010! Can you believe it? Another year to try to get it right. Another year to take all the chances that we didn't last year. Another year to DREAM!! I'm so excited for this year. For the first time in my entire life it finally feels like I'm on the right path. The pieces are starting to fall into place.

I'm always so motivated at the beginning of the year. I've got my new planners to keep everything organized, new journals....errrr, blogs, and HUGE plans! Everything is so fresh and new that you can't help but have hope that it'll all be better than the year before.

I honestly think this year is going to be amazing, not only for me, but for everyone. Going through my tweets last night all I could find was hope and excitement for 2010. It seems everyone is expecting this to be one of their best years ever. I don't blame them. The world is changing and for the better in my opinion. I've had the honor of living through the last 2 decades and these last 10 years were...I don't even know how to put it into words. So many changes that are going to revolutionize the world. We saw the EXPLOSION that was social networking...Xanga (how many of you remember this one?!), Myspace, Facebook, YouTube, Blogging, Twitter...we're more connected to the world around us than we've ever been in the past. I can find people who like the same music, movies, hobbies, all with a click of my mouse. I have more friends online than I do in real life & I'm not ashamed to admit that. They have the same goals I do and we can share how we plan on accomplishing them. Social networking made it easy to stay in touch with friends I would have lost touch with otherwise. I don't know what I would do without my Facebook or Twitter. Some say I'm addicted, I say that I like to stay connected.

So new year, new goals, thinking about the future...

I've started my bucket list...(no, I'm not sick, I just want to make sure I do everything imaginable and have the most amazing life EVER)

Made a list of goals for the year...(which include blogging more often!)

Started thinking about my dream internship...(Pete Wentz care to hook a girl up at Decaydance???)

Planned about a half a dozen trips with my best friends...(Memphis, WARPED TOUR, NYC for NYE 2011!!)

I think I'm ready...

Are you ready for 2010? Maybe 2009 wasn't my weekend, but 2010 is DEFINITELY going to be my year!!!
